About
I am Rae Gross, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California (146447), Utah (14217933-3902) and I am registered to provide telehealth in South Carolina. Click here to verify my South Carolina Telemedicine Provider Registration. I am dedicated to providing clients with a holistic approach to therapy. My therapeutic framework combines elements of depth psychology, internal family systems theory, existentialism, shadow work (Jung), attachment theory, mindfulness, and emotionally focused therapy.
I work with individuals and couples facing a broad spectrum of challenges, including depression, anxiety, grief, cancer and chronic illness, ADHD, relational and intimacy issues, religious abuse, psychedelic integration, and family of origin trauma. As a sex-positive therapist, I welcome clients from all walks of life, embracing diverse lifestyle and relationship paths, including monogamy, ethical non-monogamy (ENM), kink, gender expression, and the LGBTQ+ community.
I started my training in psychedelic assisted therapy and integration at Polaris Insight Center’s Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy Training in 2021. In 2022 I enrolled in the Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy Training program at the Integrative Psychiatry Institute, and that included the successful completion of the MAPS MDMA training program. In November 2023 I completed a week-long training at the Experiential Training Institute for psilocybin in Amsterdam.

SIX THINGS ABOUT RAE
One
I share my workspace with two cats: Tzipora (“Zippy”), a four-year-old tortoiseshell, and Serendipity, a six-year-old tuxedo. They make regular cameos during sessions strolling across my desk and can often be found napping in the right-hand drawer of my desk or in the nearby window hammock.

I’ve come to appreciate the quiet magic of the desert and now call Yucca Valley, California home. When I’m not working, I’m often out hiking among the Joshua trees, soaking in the stillness.
